1. Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. warranties to the original purchaser or end user. Warranty is not transferable.

2. All engines sold by Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. are warranted from the original sale or the end of users invoice.

3. Off highway units do not apply. LIMITATIONS: This warranty applies only to the basic engine block and internal parts of the engines.

This warranty shall not apply to or include any of the following:

A-Repair or replacement of any engine accessory or service item, including specifically without limitations, all components of the cooling, fuel system, electrical, and engine control system, all point, belts and carburation.

B- Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.

C- Any engine used for competition racing or related purposes.

D- Any engine on which the periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed.

E- Any Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. engine which has been repaired or remodeled by any person other than a certified mechanic or to which any devise or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer's specifications has been installed.

F- Any engine damaged as a result of OVER HEATING, LACK OF LUBRICATION, PRE IGNITION OR DETONATION.

LIMITED LIABILITY: The liability of Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts and workmanship. Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any service not expressly provided for herein, relating to or arising from the Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. engine. Under no circumstances will Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc., be liable for , telephone calls, freight, lost time, personal damages or commercial damages while service is performed.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS AND CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS:

A- Installer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning all engine parts not supplied by Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. On start up: If necessary adjust valves to meet the original manufactures specifications. Failure to perform these operations VOIDS WARRANTY.

B- Installer is responsible for replacing new oil pump and priming the oil pump, lifters, and gaskets or any other part or accessories which may be found defective. NO REPLACEMENT OF SUCH PARTS VOIDS WARRANTY.

C- IMPORTANT- Oil & filter must be changed after first 500 miles of service, then must be changed again after every 3,000 miles of service or 3 months, which ever occurs first. RECEIPTS FOR OIL/OIL FILTER CHANGE & ODOMETER READING WILL BE REQUIRED.

OTHER ITEMS: This warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including and warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, on the part of Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc., or the dealer installing or reselling the engine. No dealer, nor any agent or employess thereof, is authorized to extend or change this warranty on our behalf. This warranty gives you specific legal right and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. Abana Engine Rebuilder, Inc. shall not be liable for consequential or commercial damages resulting from breach of this warranty.





Long Block and Short Block

Labor and Parts Allowance;

1. Passenger cars- Long Block, (12) months, unlimited miles, parts only. (3) months Labor Allowance.

2. Commercial use- Vans, buses, pick-up trucks, light-duty trucks, medium-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks. Long Blocks (6) months unlimited miles, parts only. (3) months labor allowance.

3. Off highway units do not apply.

4. Short Blocks- 90 days parts only.

5. Labor allowance- Remove and Replace an engine will be paid during the first 3 months only, at a flat rate of $250.00 maximum paid in the warranty period from date of sale.

6. Payment for labor allowance to R&R parts supplied with engine by Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. will be based on the Automotive Motor Labor Guide manual at $20.00 per Hour not to exceed 10 hours. During the first (3) months only, from date of our factory invoice or from the end users invoice date.

7. Engine parts necessary to make field repairs will be paid at Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. original cost.

8. 1- Cylinder head at $20.00 an hour, Maximum of (4) hours.

9. 2- Cylinder heads at $20.00 an hour, Maximum of (6) hours.

10. Labor allowance must be approved by Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. after inspection of defective product. If Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. finds engine not to be a manufacturers defect, labor will not be issued. However, if labor is approved, customer will be reimbursed as per agreement above.



Warranty Claims Procedure: Contact Abana Engine Rebuilders, Inc. at 305-827-4744 for repair or return Authorization before proceeding with and work. Have the following information ready when calling;

Nature of problem, engine part number, invoice number, date installation, mileage, company name, phone and person whom to contact. At this time, recommendations will be made for field repair or removal. If field repairs are recommended, repair as needed and returned defective parts.

Governing Laws & Venue: By signing this limited warranty, the customer Acknowledges and Agrees; that any transaction shall be governed by Florida's Uniform Commercial Code, Chapter 672, Florida Status, and that the venue for any action arising out of any transaction shall be exclusively in the Circuit Courts of Dade County Florida.



Credit Policy

For all engines sold, the old casting must be returned to Abana Engine Rebuilders, inc. The old casting must meet the following conditions;

a) The old casting must be free of cracks, welds, or cracked cylinder heads.

b) All casting must be the same of that purchased.

c) No junk yard, rusty engines will be acceptable. Engine must be fully assembled.

d) Engines with broken or missing connecting rods or crankshafts are not acceptable.

e) Engines must be returned for credit within sixty (60) days from date of invoice; otherwise, Abana Engine Rebuilders, inc. will assume the replacement engine was purchased outright and no core credit will be issued.
